It is written by two of the most renowned figures in the field. The illustrations are limited and extremely pertinent. The references are the most current. The book is pleasing to the eye and easy to use, very handy to carry around. Each chapter is tabbed for easy reference. This book is a worthwhile addition to any obstetrics/gynecology department or library. It is a comprehensive and very practical guide for the physician actually dispensing contraception. It is easily referenced and very current. The new edition is needed for this rapidly changing, always controversial field.
