Many of the chapters were originally published in a special volume of The Antitrust Bulletin; they have been revised and expanded, and several additional selections have been added. The topic is divided into three parts. Volume 1 (180-3, $75) contains the more historically oriented part, beginning with the late James Withrow, Jr.'s outline of an article for this project detailing some of the intentions of Senator John Sherman. Volume 2 (181-1, $75) contains a part on philosophical perspectives, beginning with Terry Calvani and Michael Sibarium's analysis of the sources of the conservative redirection of antitrust since the mid-1970s; and a part on economic perspectives, beginning with D.T.
