This study identifies what works in the policy and practice of adult learning, drawing on the experiences of nine OECD countries, including Canada, Denmark, Spain, and the UK. It defines features of a desirable system of adult learning, looking at ways to motivate adults to learn, methods to deliver services, and national strategies. There is no subject index.
