This volume of the Soviet Advanced Composites Technology Series covers all aspects of the manufacturing concepts, technology and the methods of manufacturing composite components, within all sectors of industry. This includes shape-forming, machining, part-joining and nondestructive testing techniques of the parts. This volume presents a wide spectrum of manufacturing methodology successfully applied to composite structures. With a central theme of the production of composite aircraft structures and components, coverage is given to the diversification of this "high-tech" approach into other industries.
