Jennifer Lowe-Anker is an artist whose often whimsical paintings are rendered in vivid color and rich texture inspired by her Montana upbringing. Bozeman (MT) Daily Chronicle Lowe-Anker said that a woman who had read an advanced copy of the book told her at a recent outdoor-retailer trade show that it was the most meaningful book she'd ever read. Having lost a climbing partner herself, the woman said, the book gave her hope.
