Storck (Senior Curator Emeritus, Royal Ontario Museum, Canada) combines autobiographical and conventional science writing in his description of archaeological investigations into the world of the Paleo-Indians, who settled the North American continent beginning about 11,500 years ago. His 30-year career has been largely devoted to investigations in the Ontario region and the growth of knowledge about the early regional settlers of Ontario over those decades plays a central role in his description of his scientific career.
