Selected Readings in Korean
The first advanced Korean reading text for non-native speakers, Selected Readings in Korean consists of eighteen lessons on diverse, stimulating topics such as Korean traditions, culture, and society. It is designed for use by students who have completed the fourth-year level in Korean (approximately five hundred class hours) or the equivalent. Special effort has been made to render the volume learner-centered and learner-friendly.

Sohn (Korean linguistics, U. of Hawai'i) and Yang (English linguistics and language pedagogy, Ewha Womans U., Seoul) present a reading text for non-native speakers/students of Korean who are at the advanced level, i.e. those who have completed fourth-year Korean or the equivalent. Fourteen lessons cover a variety of topics in Korean traditions, culture and society; each lesson includes pre-reading activities, exercises, and post-reading activities.
