Lord and Lady Clayton sail from England and perish at the edge of a primeval forest leaving their baby all alone in the world. Then, a band of great apes find the baby and decide to adopt him. Baby Tarzan grows up learning all about the jungle, and he also learns how to read the books left behind by his parents! Soon he becomes the king of the apes, and when lady Jane finds herself lost in the forest, it is Tarzan that saves her!
