Organized as a hypertextual, multilayered weaving of interview data, feminist qualitative methods, the women’s own writing, and various kinds of informational fragments about angels and AIDS, the book mixes sociological, historical, popular culture, therapeutic, and policy analysis along with the privileging of ethnographic voice to enact a feminist ethnography at the limits of representation.
