\ School Library JournalGr 3-6-These titles offer age-appropriate information in a format that combines basic text with comic-book-style story lines. The stories are contrived because too many issues are raised and the order of the frames is not always clear. Both books have color photographs or illustrations on every page, a small and adequate list of organization information, and an index. Drugs covers different kinds, issues in society, addiction, difficulty of quitting, and some ideas of how communities and individuals can combat abuse. Many books for this age group include more detail, including Margaret O. Hyde and John F. Setaro's excellent Drugs 101 (21st Century Bks, 2003). When People Die is better written and has some comforting advice. It covers dying, reactions to and beliefs about death, euthanasia, funerals and rituals, grief, and coping. This title may fill a need in many collections.-Debbie Stewart Hoskins, Grand Rapids Public Library, MI Copyright 2006 Reed Business Information.\ \
