Carving projects feature Barry the Bear, a friendly bear complete with a pot belly and patchwork overalls, Christmas bear, patriotic bear, cub in a stump, Do-Nothin Rabbit, Busy Beaver, and even a well-dressed moose. From the first to the last cut, each step is documented with a color photograph and a brief instructional caption. For each of these projects there are also bandsaw patterns for roughing out the general shape and carving patterns for detailing the actual piece.
