It is a valuable tool for nurses new to oncology as well as the more experienced oncology nurse. Nursing students will also find useful information as they begin to care for cancer patients. The seventh edition is expanded to include many new topics, including cancer in special populations, alternative and complementary methods of cancer management, and sexuality and sexual dysfunction. The chapter on screening and detection is more comprehensive than the previous edition.
