In addition, there are chapters on how to make hats, gloves, armor, and animal heads, as well as other props and accessories from rummage-sale finds and a little imagination. All are accompanied by numbered directions, line drawings, and black-and-white photos, although novice costumers may find some of the directions too brief or obtuse. Still, this is a useful volume for schools and community theaters with little or no budgets for costumes and props.
