An invaluable reference work, New Yorker Profiles 1925-1992 is a comprehensive bibliography of the biographical pieces that ran in the magazine under its first three editors. Citations are organized alphabetically by the surname of the subject, and a cross-referenced index of authors provides background on the writers of the articles.
